FOR THOU O LORD (PS. 5:12)
The Lord blessed me with this verse of the scripture long before the
album was thought of. It met my need so much that I had it written
out and pasted on my kitchen cabinet and prayed it over my family,
shared it with brethren and loved ones in and out of the country for
years.
I did not have to be told to know that it is His favor that has brought
me thus far, having lost my parents by age seven.
According to this scripture, only the righteous will be blessed and how
can we therefore be righteous when the same scripture has said in
Romans 3:23 that all have sinned and come short of God's glory and
that none is righteous (Rom. 3:11)?
But only by accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior can we be
righteous, because He is our RIGHTEOUSNESS and until then can
we be blessed and surrounded with His favor.
