TIME OF REFRESHING

 (Time of Refreshing…. Acts 3:19)

At his word like he said, there was neither dew nor rain for seven years! Elijah, the prophet of the Most High God detested the unfaithfulness of the Israelites to God especially the abominable deeds of the house of King Ahab. Imagine all the hardships, famine, sickness etc that befell the entire nation. Both the righteous and the unrighteous had a taste of it. Even the brook where Elijah drank from dried up; but for the mercy of our ever providing God, who will always make a way for His own. He made another way for Elijah’s upkeep.

Saints of God, what a refreshing time it was when after seven years, it rained again!!

Of course, the rain did not come until the people had repented from their wicked ways by renouncing baal and declaring God as God!!!

 Peter in the book of Acts rose to address the people who were astonished at the lame man’s healing. He said to them to repent…so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord…. Acts 3:19

 Believe it or not, the Body of Christ needs repentance today. We need to go back to Calvary in order to re-kindle the fire of our first love. The spirit of schism, which is the strategy of the enemy to separate us as a body at this end time must be broken in Jesus name!
