It's All About Jesus |

“I am the way, the truth…” “I am the light of the world…” “I am the bread of life…” “I am the good Shepherd…” “I am the vine…” etc When we consider the I AMs of our Lord Jesus, we will come to know that all that we are, all that we do is all about Him (Jesus) and until we realize that, we cannot fulfill our purpose in life! Christianity, church goings and activities etc can only be worthwhile when we know that it is all about Jesus. Mephibosheth was a man lame in his feet, forgotten by all and left in a desert but when his time and season to be favored came; it was no longer about who he was as Saul’s descendant, what he did or did not do. It was All About the Lord and His faithfulness. It was All About Him Who He is as a good God Who does not share His glory with men. It was All About the One Who has mercy on whoever He wills. (2 Sam. 9). Even King David who was said to abhor the lame and the blind (2 Sam. 5:8) could not stop himself from favoring Mephibosheth despite the fact that he was pre-warned of his lameness in 2 Sam. 9:3. This is all because of the fact that Mephibosheth’s destiny is All About Jesus. Beloved, that is exactly how it is with you and I
today. Let us therefore hold tightly to the hope of our calling; knowing
that it is not of him who runs, nor of him who wills but of the Lord Who
shows mercy (Rom. 9:16). Therefore, let brotherly love continues because
