" I have been very ashamed of my skin all
my life and always wore a long sleeve shirt and has never worn a skirt.
I am really grateful for this conference; now I am rebuilding my self esteem
and things have to change immediately. From now on, I am proud of who I am
and will start to wear skirts and short sleeve shirts"
"I have been having some difficult relationship with some members of my family and this has affected my grades in school. I will use some of the principles we were taught today to re-build my relationship and bring up my grades." These are some of the breakthrough goals of two participants during our first Annual Teens Conference. It was a 4-hour life changing event for the 19 teenagers that participated in the conference. We really thank God for these young ones who came out of their shells to express themselves. The ministry will issue a certificate each to the participants which Diane Pittenger-Pugh in her closing remark, advised the teens to use as part of the documents for their college application.
