He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber. Ps 121:3

A story is told of an African hunter that has a very good, obedient and dependable companion. This companion is a dog named Toffa. She is faithful in doing most of the errands for the hunter especially helping to collect the kills. In the game forest, there are lots of home-made traps to catch animals. A sad event happened one day when the hunter heard a great cry. On getting there, he found Toffa caught in a trap. Toffa lost a leg and remained unfit for errands; in other words, the dog lost her stability.

Feet for most land mammals serve as a means of stability (support of weight), aids economic activities and help to provide food etc. Consider a soccer star – Wayne Rooney of Manchester United, UK  and the likes, their feet provide them millions of dollars in revenue annually.

God said, I will not let your foot to be moved (slip); this implies that God will make you stable. That is to say, whatever you consider to be your means of stability, not will slip. Amen. Let me put it in another way, anything that will make you unstable shall be far away from you. Amen. Things that can make you unstable are: financial problems, marriage hiccups, diseases etc.  Any condition of instability from any source (like Toffa) shall not be your portion in Jesus name. Amen

Terry Owens of the Philadelphia Eagles had an ankle problem that was to keep him out of super bowl XXXIX. His doctor said that he was unfit to play the game, but Terry in one of his remarks mentioned that he believed that God who made his feet will help him to play the game. Terry played the super bowl XXXIX and caught 125 yards- the most yards in the Eagles line up.

Are you there and it seems that your feet are being moved, because you have just lost a job, or your business/relations are shaky, etc? Remember His promise, “your feet shall not be moved.” He will definitely make a way. Amen
