Reni's Charities

African Orphans
Reni ministers in different ways and through various schemes, to different peoples, in churches and at conferences, locally and outside the US. Her non-profit organization, RENI MINISTRIES, has created the African Orphans Educational Fund that raises funds to educate and train orphan children in Africa.

She believes in giving back; in appreciation of what God has done for her. Reni, who serves as Executive Director of the Fund admits that "I know what itmeans to be an orphaned child but for the love of God and those around me, I could not have come this far. I give glory to God for bringing people my way to encourage and lead me rightly. I know there are many orphans out there who need opportunities to succeed and I see myself as an instrument of God to uplift orphans. I am a pen in God’s mighty hands, with which He is writing a love letter to the African orphans".

African Orphans Educational Fund currently sponsors children’s education in Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Uganda, and it is hoped that as the Lord permits, as well as with the supports and partnership of generous donors, many more orphans will benefit from the organization’s charity in order to escape from a life of poverty and ignorance.

Annual Christmas Party for Children & Teens
Since 2002, Reni has held, in collaboration with churches in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area, a yearly Inter-denominational Christmas party for Children and Teens. She has also started one in the State of California where she currently resides with her family. "This", she says, “has grown hugely from the small group we started with and most importantly, has strengthened unity within the Body of Christ.

As one of her ways of impacting the lives of young people, Reni had twice volunteered a week each, despite her busy schedule, to minister at the Presbyterian Annual Summer Youth Camp at Kirkwood, PA where she performed as well as shared the WORD with the participating children and teens.

National Motherhood Award
In May of each year, RENI MINISTRIES honors mothers by giving them Recognition Awards in appreciation of their roles as blessings in their churches, and in their communities as a whole. Selected women from different walks of life, whose motherly role are proven and well acknowledged, are invited to the National Motherhood Award Dinner for recognition and citation. The occasion is also used to sensitize them to the plight of orphans in Africa with the aim that they may serve as distant mothers to these children, either through sponsorship or by helping to raise funds.

Reni’s Recent Visit to Nigeria
Reni recently went on a five week visit to Nigeria further her gospel singing activities, and extend the work of Reni Ministries (Charity) to ‘the home front’.
Firstly, in line with the ‘Give-in-love’ philosophy of the organization, she will visit and make donations to three orphanages in Lagos namely: S.O.S Village, Isolo; Little saints Orphanage, Palm Grove and Heritage House at Gbagada. Secondly, this homecoming will enable her to identify brilliant orphans that may be given education scholarships. Thirdly, RENI will begin discussion with Ando, an industrial photography company based in Lagos with a view to offering training opportunities to interested and deserving orphans under the sponsorship of her charity organization. Furthermore, RENI will be pleased to collaborate with other businesses that share this vision.
